Brush up forløbet er for dig, der ønsker at genopfriske dine kompetencer inden for matematik og/eller kemi

Hvad bliver der undervist i?

Matematik (for begge uddannelser):

• Polynomier
• Differentiation (med anvendelser)
• Vektoralgebra og rumgeometri
• Grundlæggende differentialligninger
• Grundlæggende sandsynlighedslære

Kemi (for bioteknologi):

• Mængdeberegninger, afstemning, navngivning af molekyler og salte
• Kemisk ligevægt
• Redoxkemi herunder afstemning af uorganiske og organiske reaktioner
• Organisk kemi herunder funktionelle grupper og reaktionstyper
• Syre-basekemi herunder beregning af pH i opløsninger med svage, middelstærke og stærke syrer/baser

Hvordan foregår undervisningen?
Undervisningen består af lektioner og opgaveregning. Der undervises på dansk.

Hvornår foregår undervisningen?
Undervisningen foregår i uge 34. 

Kurset finansieres af Region Sjælland og den Europæiske Socialfond og er derfor gratis.

For you that want to refresh your knowledge and skills within mathematics and chemistry

Which topics are included?

Mathematics:

• Polynomials
• Differentiation (with applications)
• Vector algebra and geomeetry
• Basic differential equations
• Basic probability and statistics

Chemistry:

• Quantity calculations, balancing chemical reactions, naming of molecules and salts
• Chemical equilibrium
• Redox chemistry, including balancing of inorganic and organic reactions
• Organic chemistry, including functional groups and reaction types
• Acid-base chemistry, including calculations of pH in solutions with weak, medium strong and strong acids/bases

Which teaching activities are included?
The teaching includes lectures and calculation exercises. The teaching will be in English.

When and where does the teaching take place?
The teaching is in week 34. 

How much does it cost?
The course is financed by the region of Zeeland and the European social fund and hence, it is free. Registration is not necessary you simply turn up the first day to take part.
