Annual plan

Each semester consists of an introduction week and around 12 weeks of teaching. 

The autumn semester begins the last week of August, the first week being introduction week and with the teaching starting in the beginning of September until beginning of December. Spring semester begins the second week of February, the first week being introduction week and with the teaching starting the third week of February until the beginning of June.

In autumn there is a teaching free week in week 42, Autumn break. In spring, there is a teaching free week for Easter.  

Courses of 10 ECTS will correspond to approximately 8 lectures of teaching per week, two times 4 lessons a week for each course. The 5 ECTS courses might run as a full week course at the end of the semester. When a semester represents a total of 20 ECTS, one should expect around 16 planned lectures per week. On top of this, there will be additional time to be used for preparations, assignments, and project work.
