Mentor program for students attending the 3rd semester
The Mentor program for students attending the 3rd semester focusing on:
- Student life
- Career opportunities
- Academic choices
Mentors will be young and relatively recent graduate engineers in the industry
Time Schedule
- June: Signing up
- September: Kick off meeting (mandatory)
- September- December: Mentor meetings
Expected time resources: 4 meetings btw. you and your mentor each 1-2 hours.
Your will benefit from the mentor by:
- Receiving sparring to retain you in the study the best way possible
- Guidance to know how your study choice can be used in a workplace
- Sparring towards making the transition from study to job easier
- Support and help to your needs (professionally, study wise and in the study life in general)
- Guidance/coaching if challenges with daily tasks, deadlines, teamwork etc.
Expectations
Being the student/mentee, your responsibility will be to initiate and schedule meetings and to write summaries upon meetings. Your mentor will help scheduling. We will match you with an English-speaking mentor if preferred.

Mentor program for students attending semester 5-6 focusing on:
- Understanding of the industry
- Career opportunities
- Preparation for job and the labour market
Mentors will be experienced engineers in the industry
Time Schedule
- September: Signing up
- November: Kick off meeting (mandatory)
- November- June: Mentor meetings
Expected time resources: 4-8 meetings each 1-2 hrs. (app. 4-6 weeks btw. the meetings)
Your will benefit from the mentor program by:
- Receiving sparring during the period of internship
- Sparring towards making the transition from study to job easier
- Support to clear out possible questions/challenges in relation to rules and customs of the working place
- Aspiration to reflect on tasks and assignments
- Backup and feedback
- Guidance/coaching if challenges with daily tasks, deadlines, teamwork etc.
