Nanna Thea Mulvad Johansen - Kandidat til studenterrådet

My name is Nanna Thea Mulvad Johansen, and I am in my 4th semester studying to become a nurse at Campus Nykøbing F. I’ve had the honor of serving as chair of the Joint Student Council since the annual meeting in May 2024. I am running for re-election, full of motivation, drive, and the hope of being elected for another term. We’ve come a long way in our work within the Joint Student Council this past year – but we’re not finished yet.
Over the last year, my role has given me in-depth insight into how Absalon as an institution operates and is governed. I wish to continue building on the knowledge I have gained and contribute to the work we have already begun. In addition to representing all our students, in 2024 I focused especially on the well-being of our students—both academically and socially.
We have around 8,000 full-time students here at Absalon, and whether you are actively involved—for instance, in your local student council or one of the many other associations/clubs here at Absalon—or simply focused on your own studies, your vote deserves to be heard. I want to fight to ensure it is heard!
I safeguard every single student’s voice, and I will keep seeking influence wherever I can, ensuring that our voices are heard and included in decision-making processes. Without us, there would be no Absalon. Student involvement is critical to fostering a positive study environment, and I want to contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all our students—across all our campuses. We have done this in 2024, and I will continue that work in 2025 if I’m re-elected.
Christine Marie Hansen - Candidate for the Student Council

I am running for the position of vice-chair in Absalon’s Joint Student Council because I want to improve the study experience for all my fellow students.
I care about everyone’s well-being and welfare. I believe it’s important to give everyone a voice and to listen to those who speak up.
Since elementary school, I have been part of either the student council or a Student Council (SR), so I have experience in this field.
Layal El-Khatib - Candidate for the Student Council

My name is Layal, I’m 25 years old, and I will start at Absalon on January 29, 2025. Even though I’m new, I’m running because I’m passionate about creating a strong and inclusive study environment where all students feel heard and represented. I’m also running to connect with my fellow students and get to know them in a positive way.
I see it as a unique opportunity to engage in the student community from day one and to help strengthen the dialogue between students and management. I will work for transparency, better opportunities for academic and social development, and a study environment where everyone thrives.
I’m an engaged, attentive, and solution-oriented person who believes we can make a difference together. Even though I’m new to Absalon, I come with a strong desire to contribute and to be a strong voice for my fellow students.
Danni Shirinabadi Sigen - Candidate for the Board

My first year on the board has provided me with valuable experience and solid insight into the school’s strategies, challenges, and potential. I aim to build on the work already underway and help ensure continuity and progress in the board’s decision-making processes.
I’m passionate about strengthening University College Absalon’s position and development and will continue with great energy, commitment, and dedication. My experience from the first year, combined with my focus on social responsibility and innovation, motivates me to contribute even more to the school’s strategic development.
I have a strong vision for the future, where I want to create better educational opportunities, increased well-being among students, and a stronger link between research and practice. I’m running for re-election to the board to continue working to strengthen University College Absalon’s position as a prominent and forward-thinking educational institution.
“Your vote for me – your guarantee of being heard.”
Zacharias Noah Boujemaa Razvi - Candidate for the Board

I am running for the position of student representative on the Board at University College Absalon because we deserve a school where rules are clear, students are heard, and our needs are acted upon. I want to work toward a transparent and fair study environment where we, as students, can focus on our education without having to battle unclear processes or poor communication.
Why am I running?
I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be when rules aren’t followed correctly. When I appealed a grade, I received misleading guidance from a supervisor. Had I not looked up the rules myself, I wouldn’t have received the grade I was actually entitled to. That’s not how it should be—students should be able to trust that the institution knows its own procedures.
I will work to ensure that:
- Supervisors and instructors understand and apply the rules correctly, so students don’t receive incorrect guidance.
- All students know their rights, so no one is left in an unfair situation.
- Rules and procedures are clear and transparent, so students don’t have to struggle through a confusing system on their own.
A better study environment for everyone
Absalon aims to have a smoke-free campus, but that doesn’t line up well with the fact that we still encounter smoke at the entrances. It sends a poor signal and negatively affects the study environment. I will work to establish clear smoking areas to ensure a healthier environment, while also considering the needs of those who smoke.
What do you get with me on the Board?
- A strong voice for fairness and transparency, one that doesn’t let mistakes and injustices go unnoticed.
- An action-oriented representative who finds solutions instead of accepting problems.
- A practical approach to change, creating tangible improvements for students—not just empty promises.
I’m running because I believe we can create a stronger, more efficient, and fair institution—but it requires a student representative who is willing to take responsibility and ensure our voices are heard.
Vote for me if you want a representative who takes action, listens, and delivers real improvements for us students.
