The nomination deadline is January 30 at 12:00, and this is a unique chance for you, as a student, to express your gratitude and appreciation. The Teaching Award honors educators who go above and beyond to create exceptional learning experiences, fostering curiosity and student engagement through innovation and dedication.
Last year’s winner: Associate Professor Iben Holm Fogstrup
In 2024, the award went to Associate Professor Iben Holm Fogstrup from Absalon’s Physiotherapy program. She shared how being nominated and receiving the award has made a lasting impact:
"Being chosen as the recipient of the 2024 Teaching Award was an incredible honor. Knowing that the nomination came directly from my students, who took the time to put me forward, is deeply touching. Simply being nominated is, in itself, the greatest recognition I could ask for."
The award’s accompanying funds were used to further enhance teaching quality:
"We have focused on creating learning spaces where all students can thrive, learn, and grow. Additionally, we’ve implemented AI tools and strengthened our student mentor program through peer-to-peer feedback, all of which contribute to preparing our students for the future," explains Iben Holm Fogstrup.
