Share your opinion in the Danish Student Survey 2025
What is the Danish Student Survey?
The Danish Student Survey is a national survey conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. It targets all students in higher education programmes as well as recent graduates who completed their studies within the past three years.
The purpose is to gather insights into students’ and graduates’ experiences — academically, socially, and structurally. The results are used nationally to compare and improve educational quality across Denmark’s institutions.
Why does your participation matter?
Your feedback matters — both for your own education and for future students.
The results are used in several ways:
-
They are published on Uddannelseszoom, where prospective students can compare study environments, learning outcomes, and overall satisfaction.
-
They contribute to Absalon’s quality assurance work and the annual status report linked to the institution’s performance agreement.
-
They provide a foundation for improving teaching, feedback culture, learning environments, and student well-being.
The more students who take part, the more accurate and valuable the results become. That’s why achieving a high response rate is a key priority at Absalon — your input truly makes a difference.
What will you be asked about?
The survey includes questions on a wide range of topics that together provide a full picture of student life:
-
Learning environment and well-being
-
Teaching quality and feedback
-
Interaction with lecturers and fellow students
-
Academic outcomes and learning approaches
-
Expectations and workload
Graduates are also asked about their transition from education to employment, including how well their studies prepared them for their current job and how they apply their skills in practice.
When and how does it take place?
The data collection runs from 21 October to 26 November 2025.
Most students will have the opportunity to complete the survey during a scheduled class session, making participation quick and convenient. Each programme and campus has a local coordinator who will plan when the survey is completed.
What happens after the survey?
Once the survey period ends, detailed reports will be produced and reviewed by Absalon’s management and individual programmes. The results are used actively to enhance quality and improve study programmes, ensuring the best possible educational experience for all students.
