Easy to Use

The scanners are user-friendly, intuitive, and require no technical expertise. You can follow the scanning process on the screen, make adjustments, and ensure your pages are clear and sharp before saving the file.

Where Can I Find the Scanner?

The scanners are located in the library at each campus – with the exception of Kalundborg, where the scanner is placed in the copy room right next to the library.

What Can the Scanner Do?

The scanners offer OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing – meaning they recognize the text on your scanned pages. This allows you to search within the text, have it read aloud, copy content, or edit it further in programs like Word or PDF readers.
This makes your scanned material significantly more useful than a standard image file.

Respect Copyright Laws!

When scanning, it's important to comply with current copyright regulations. This means you may only scan for personal use, and there are limits to how much of a work you may copy or share.
If you're unsure – don't hesitate to ask the library staff.
