Emergency Preparedness, Evacuation, and First Aid

Defibrillator

There is 1 defibrillator on Campus Kalundborg. It is located on the outer wall near the main entrance.

All instructions are provided either verbally and/or via images when the cover is opened. It is the responsibility of all students and staff to familiarize themselves with the defibrillator's location and operation.

All defibrillators are registered with precise geographic locations on the website www.hjertestarter.dk and are also available as an app.

First Aid Kit

First aid kits are available in the laboratories and in the study administration office in A1.11.

Emergency Plan

Familiarize yourself thoroughly with the Emergency Plan. In an emergency, it can save lives. If the evacuation alarm is activated (a voice instructs you to leave the building and not to use the elevators), use the nearest emergency exit and proceed calmly but decisively to the Assembly Point outside by the bicycle parking area across from the main entrance.

Persons in wheelchairs should head to the nearest emergency exit and make contact with staff.
