Guidelines in relation to Covid-19
Based on the Epidemic Commission's latest assessment of the Corona situation, Corona restrictions will end on 1 February.
Ending of all restrictions 1 February 2022
The current restrictions apply until January 31, 2022, when they expire. Until that date, Corona passports must be displayed and masks worn on campus.
Absalon closely follows the authorities' recommendations regarding the use of Corona passports, tests, hand washing and sanitizer, so that we can keep the infection rates down and the campus open.
It is important that we help each other to make sure that everyone has a valid Corona passport (either through vaccination or testing). We expect all students (and staff) to help each other to remember this so we do not have Covid infections on campus.
- Stay home and get tested if you have symptoms or have been exposed to infection
- Keep distance
- Wash and sanitize your hands frequently
When you meet on campus, there is a requirement to present a valid corona passport and wear a mask or visor. Read more about corona passport and mask further down the page.
All exams in the coming exam period will be held digitally- except for critical activities where special facilities and physical presence are required as well as the bachelor final exams- even though more presence on campus will be opened up during January. Any changes will be visible in Wiseflow as well as in your schedule.
Teaching will continue to take place on campus. In connection with the classroom teaching, there may be some who would like to help their fellow students, who for example may be in isolation, and stream from the classes. This can be an excellent help, but teachers and other persons, do not have the opportunity to help with this.
Teaching on campus will take place according to the following guidelines:
Tested positive
If you have been tested positive for corona virus or have symptoms of it (dry cough, sore throat, fever, breathing problems, headache, muscle aches), do not come to campus.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you should contact the authorities' infection detection on telephone 32 32 05 11. Here you get advice on how to behave, as well as help in detecting the close contacts that you may have infected.
Are you a close contact to a person infected with COVID-19?
On Monday 24 January 2022, new guidelines have been issued for self-isolation. According to the guidelines, close contacts do no need to go into self-isolation. Close contacts are recommended to take a rapid test or PCR test 3 days after the infected person has tested positive for COVID-19.
Close contacts are only recommended to self-isolate if they develop symptoms of COVID-19. In addition, close contacts with symptoms are recommended to take a PCR test as soon as possible.
Requirement to present a valid corona passport
Access control untill 31 January 2022
We expect everyone to be able to present a valid Corona passport when they arrive at Absalon's campus. There will be only one entrance and periodic access control will be introduced. At Campus Roskilde, there will be access control all day.
In connection with the access control, there may be a queue at the entrance, and therefore we encourage you to arrive well in advance.
Access control means that all students, staff and other visitors (including students, suppliers, guests, etc.) must present a valid Corona passport. The Corona passport must be presented in the form of either the app ‘coronapas’, which is activated with NemID, via the health authorities' app “myHealth” or a printed document. The passport is valid if:
- You have been fully vaccinated or received the vaccine more than 14 and up to 42 days ago (depending on the type of vaccine)
- You have been previously infected, your Corona passport will be valid after 11 days. This means that you will have a valid Corona passport from day 11 and up to 5 months after a positive PCR-test.
- If you have a valid PCR or antigen test. The test result from a PCR test is valid for 72 hours and the antigen test is valid for 48 hours.
Remember to bring a valid ID such as a passport, driving license, health card or other publicly issued identity card.
Exempted for Corona passport
The following are exempted for Corona passports:
- Persons who can present documentation issued and signed by a municipal citizen service center to be exempt from the covid-19 test requirement.
- Children under 15 years.
After 1 February 2022
Corona restrictions will not apply.

If you do not have a mask with you, you can get one free at the FrontDesk.
There may be special cases where a person is exempted from using a face mask, etc. due to special circumstances. This must be respected. There is no requirements for documentation for this.
On 1 February all corona restrictions will end.

Guests at bachelor exams
Often guests, family and friends attend bachelor exams. This is very understandable as it is a day one would like to commemorate.

See below what you must do if you are subject to special circumstances.

After 1 February
It will no longer be necessary to organize the teaching in permanent groups, but it has been decided that the current exam period will be held as planned.
This means that we maintain that exams be held virtually except for a few, where special facilities and physical presence are required.
Graduation and guests
Based on the latest announcement from Ministry of Higher Education and Science, this will no longer apply, and it will again be possible to bring guests to campus for the final exams.
The graduations in the current period have already been planned, and with today's announcement we do not propose that these graduations to be rethought. Where possible, we encourage the possibility of inviting a reasonable number of guests.

It is therefore estimated that most people in a risk group will be able to participate as planned in exams on campus. If you can present a medical certificate documenting that you are unable to attend due to risk group, the exam can be held as an online exam in connection with the physical exam. This is also possible in the case of a group exam.

How do I participate online in oral exams?
Untill 31 January
Absalon uses the Zoom system to online oral exams.
In principle, the rules are the same whether your oral exam is held via Zoom, or as a normal oral exam at Absalon. However, there are a few differences and special points of attention when your oral exam is held via Zoom.
So that the exam can be completed satisfactorily, the examiner and censor must be able to see and hear you. Therefore, you must have : 1) Computer with built-in webcam/external webcam and 2) A good stabile internet connection.
It is not allowed to record the exam or the feedback in connection with the assessment. If the exam is interrupted due to technical reasons, and the connection is not able to be quickly restored, you must follow the emergency procedures without any unnecessary delay.
Read more about online exams in Zoom here.
From 1 February 2022
