How to Get a News Item on Absalon's Info Screens

Did you know that you can easily get a news item on Absalon's info screens?

Absalon's info screens are a direct communication and branding channel reserved for sharing information and news with students and other visitors on campus. The screens provide an opportunity to share relevant information, offers, and updates about campus life while supporting the positive narrative of Absalon as a diverse and vibrant educational institution.

Info screens target audience

It is important to consider the target audience for the news item before posting it on the info screens.

The target audiences, in prioritized order, are:

  1. Students
  2. Visitors to campus
  3. (Employees)

It is crucial to emphasize that students are the primary audience, so a news item must never address employees exclusively. If the news is primarily for employees, HR and Communications recommend using Absalon's intranet or email instead.

  • Dimensions: The image must be square, with a minimum resolution of 857 x 857 pixels.
  • Composition Guidelines:

    • Be aware that the top-right corner will be cropped, and a text box overlaps the lower part of the image.
    • Place important elements (e.g., the focus point or key content) in the upper two-thirds of the image, avoiding areas affected by cropping or overlapping.
